What did you want to be when you were a little girl?
When I was a little girl I wanted to be just like my mom. She worked for a dress company in New York City, Rare Editions. I used to go to work with her and wander around the office. I played in piles of bow and flower dress embellishment. These memories were so magical to me. Its since then that I knew I wanted to be involved in fashion.
What are you most proud of about yourself?
I’m most proud of always staying true to myself and knowing that true beauty comes from within - how you feel and how you make others feel.
What are three things on your bucket list?
Three things on my bucket list are to visit Australia, visit Italy and go sky diving. I'm hoping to study abroad, possibly in one these places!
What's a passion of yours?
A passion of mine is volunteering with disabled children and elderly adults. One of the organizations I've volunteered with is Assisted Living in Smithtown NY. Its so rewarding to spend time there and see their faces light up just to have someone to keep them company and talk to. I formed close relationships with many of them. Unfortunately one resident, Rae, who I was especially close with passed away. After, her daughter came back to the home and told me how much her mother talked about me, and how I really impacted her mother's final weeks. This was so heartwarming and made me realize even the smallest acts of kindness can really make a difference in peoples lives.
What inspired you to join the eff.y.bee team and what are some goals you have for next year?
My G-big in Chi Omega, Kassady Sever, inspired me to join! She has been on the eff.Y.bee team for two years. She puts her all into everything she does and is absolutely amazing. She inspires me to work hard and push myself. My goal is contribute as much as I can to eff.y.bee and follow in Kassady's footsteps!
What does "follow your bliss" mean to you?
To me, "follow your bliss" means go after all that makes you happy. I believe the key to success lies in your mindset. If you stay positive and have the drive to follow your dreams, you can make anything happen.
